As new online stores keep emerging, competition becomes tougher every day. The key to a successful and competitive business is just the same as in brick-and-mortar stores: good products, of course, combined with excellent customer service, or in the case of eCommerce, customer experience.
Many SaaS platforms are constantly renewing themselves and working on new features that will attract businesses and ensure they’re the best option in the market. BigCommerce is one of them.
Recently, a brand-new Forrester Consulting study commissioned by BigCommerce on the company’s Total Economic Impact has shown impactful data about the growth and profitability of eCommerce businesses that have chosen to migrate to BigCommerce from another platform.
To conduct this study, Forrester interviewed six representatives with experience using BigCommerce, aggregated the interviewees’ experiences, and combined the results into a single composite organization that is a retail organization that uses BigCommerce to power its eCommerce business and is moving from a different platform that did not meet its scalability and functionality needs.
Here are the key findings of the study:
Using other platforms, interviewees expressed they often faced operational inefficiencies in their work, website performance issues, and poor customer experience on their eCommerce sites, whereas after switching to BigCommerce, they were able to realize time savings in various activities related to their eCommerce website. Key results from the investment include improved operational efficiency and time to value in making changes to their eCommerce website, which led to revenue growth and better customer satisfaction.
BigCommerce has established itself as a company that provides flexibility and is composable for both B2C and B2B businesses, creating engaging digital experiences and attracting new customers across multiple channels. It is a platform that’s deeply committed to offering continuous scalability for businesses aiming for constant growth.
As Brent Bellm, CEO of BigCommerce, said in our eCommerce podcast The Link:
“I say to customers on BigCommerce: It’s my goal not only that you never need to leave but that we power your growth and success operation for years and decades to come.”
